Transdermal Patches have been around for a while, and it’s a popular way to take CBD. What has not been done yet is via a transdermal patch as a delivery method for Terpenes.

One of the problems with using a Transdermal patch is that it is the stratum corium or skin’s job to keep things out. Most drugs are poor candidates for transdermal delivery.

The Terpenes I’m using for my Transdermal patch are all what’s known as penetrating enhancers. They make drugs penetrate and go deeper. One Terpene increases the Transdermal effect for one anti-inflammation drug 198-fold. That’s one, there’s five more. Another increases the Transdermal effect by between 20 and 100 times.

Since all of the Terpenes are penetrating enhancers and will pass through the skin barrier where they make their way down to the capillaries and are distributed throughout the body via the bloodstream. The Terpenes will have no problem penetrating the skin nor being absorbed.

Benefits of Using a Transdermal Patch

Most drugs are taken orally as a delivery method to the body. This presents a problem because as much as half the medicine is lost to first pass metabolism or more commonly known as digestion. This makes medicine more expensive because so much is wasted. By taking more of a drug you’re risking more side effects including thoughts of suicide or death as in some drugs on the market currently. Another problem is to remember to take your meds on time. Once a patch is on, just leave it on for between twelve hours to seven days. No forgetting to take those meds.

With a Transdermal Patch, the medicine or in this case Terpenes will go directly into the bloodstream without as much as half of it being lost due to first pass metabolism aka being digested. A 100 mg patch means you’ll get most of that 100 mg in your bloodstream. A patch can be made to work for as short as 12 hours, to as long as 7 days.

Our first Terpene Transdermal Patch will be used to treat Inflammation. The reason for going after Inflammation are many. For starters, it’s listed as the cause for 20% of all cancers. Many of your auto immune disorders are caused by inflammation. So many diseases get their start with or are influenced by Inflammation itself, and it influences so many other conditions.

OPIATES The way opiates work is that you have pain bad enough to need an Opiate. It has been reported to me that a person will feal immense pain until the Opiate kicks in, and then the intoxication takes over. They exchanged pain for being stoned and not functioning well. They reported that by taking my Anti-Inflammation blend, that it was a gradual thing the pain going away until they no longer noticed it, but they had no problem being sober and their pain under control at the same time.

How does this work? An Opiate works by masking the pain but doing nothing about the root cause which is Inflammation. With the Inflammation being the root cause and not being treated properly, the pain comes back when the Opiate wears off.

How do Terpenes work? As I said, pain is caused by Inflammation being out of control. What Terpenes do is to actually treat the Inflammation and reduce its severity until when the Inflammation has been brought under control, the need for Opiates is eliminated and the After that, Terpenes are sufficient for pain management it has been reported without any psychotropic effect.

Anything else? well, yes, there’s plenty more. While treating Inflammation as the primary affliction to treat, Terpenes have beneficial side effects that are many. It increases mental clarity and focus, as reported by several who had brain fog. Cold and flu are another issue being delt with. Great for Respiratory Inflammation and keeping the lungs clear and breathing not being such a chore. Several that’s being tested for breaking down beta amyloid plaque which would treat Alzheimer’.

Cancer? Where to start? Some of the Terpenes we use today work by inducing Cytotoxicity in several Cancer lines, and we have several for that purpose, no big deal. We have several that cause Apoptosis which is Cancer Cells dying or commonly referred to as PCD, or Programed Cell Death, and others that help Drug Resistance in many other Cancers. There is one that sensitizes Tumor Cells to Chemo Agents, meaning it helps standard Chemo become more efficient without additional ”Body Rejection Effects”. Some Terpenes inhibit the growth and spread of Tumors and Malignant Cells. It is in pre-clinical trials to test its Anti-Tumor effect by loss of Cell Membrane Integrity by possibly mimicking the effects that Chemo has on several Cancer lines. Of course, there’s much more!

It is important to remember that a lot of this is going on at the same time. Treat your Inflammation as your primary concern, and everything else listed above is a potential beneficial side effect. Everything is treated at the same time.

Side Effects? So far, the only side effects reported are what’s called ‘ Terp Burps”. When one burps, you taste flowers. Which makes sense because Terpenes come from flowers or as we say 100% all-natural plant-based Terpenes. That’s without side effects.
